Sr CourierPAML a Labcorp Company is seeking a Sr Courier to join our team in Spokane, WA.Work Schedule: Hours vary Monday - Friday 12:00 pm to 12:00 am overtime and additional days and hours may be required.Job Responsibilities:Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickupsComplete daily pick up schedule in a timely mannerDeliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shiftHandle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient mannerSafely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic lawsUtilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks upWork directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as neededEvaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as neededAct as a floater for the logistics team providing as needed for various routesMinimum Qualifications:No Education Required1 Year or more previous driver/courier experiencePreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent3 or more years of previous driver/courier experiencePrevious experience in health care, logistics or transportation environmentsAdditional Job Standards:Valid Driver's License and clean driving recordBe at least 21 years oldVery punctual with strong time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to problem solve customer issuesAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Flexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt PAML a Labcorp Company we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives. If you are passionate about helping people and have a drive for service, then Labcorp could be a great next career step!In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.Pay Range: $18.63 to $26.02 per hourPlus Shift 2 DifferentialsAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Included with this position is a company vehicle that you will use for your assigned route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home nightly and having it available for personal use.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
